No mail companies throughout lockdown.

The South African Post Office says its retail branches will stay open in the course of the 21-day lockdown to allow the fee of SASSA social grants.

But clients have been suggested not to place any mail objects in put up packing containers as mail collections can be fully suspended in the course of the lockdown.

And they’ve been instructed not to anticipate any excellent deliveries to happen throughout this time.

SAPO’s buyer companies contact centre will even not be out there both by phone or e mail.

Social grant funds are classed as a vital service and are exempt from the nationwide lockdown.

Some 882 SAPO branches will stay open to present grants.

The Post Office says measures have been put in place to management the space between clients, in addition to offering queue marshalling companies throughout peak occasions.

Sanitizers, gloves and masks are being made out there to staff who can be restricted to working past a meter of each other.
