Lawrence Maleka bagged a SAFTAs nomination

The 17th Annual SAFTAs (South African Film and Television Awards) announced nominees for this year 2023.

Voting will start on August 10, 2023, and the voting codes will be posted on all Saftas social media platforms and the NFVF website. The voting period will end on September 27, 2023, at 23:59.

The annual event will be held in Johannesburg on the 29 and 30 September 2023 and will be broadcast live on the Saftas YouTube channel on 29 September 2023.

The River and Legacy, both from Tshedza Pictures, have each received nominations in 11 categories for this year’s TV Telenovela and Soap Awards.
